Firefighter/EMT – Apply Today
A Fire/EMS member rides both the fire engine and the ambulance at the station. The fire engine responds to a variety of fire 9-1-1 calls including gas leaks, house and apartment fires, car accidents, severe medical emergencies, and others. The Fire/EMS member is expected to pass Firefighter I and EMT-B courses, and get “turned over” through the in-station testing process. The member must be able to operate effectively on fire incidents and must be able to use all the tools, hose lines, and ladders available on the engine.
