By Board of Trustees Thomas Tanner
December 24, 2017

Santa took time from his busy scheduled to ride-along with Branchville on the first night of our annual Santa Run. Braving the wet rain from his perch atop our 1969 Peter Pirsch engine, Santa made some special request stops at Mission BBQ, Mama Lucias, and the Knights of Columbus on Cherry Hill Road while traveling through the new Greenbelt Station development, the Seven Springs Apartment complex, and the College Park neighborhoods along Metzerott Road including College Park Woods.

Tonight, Christmas Eve, Santa make a second sortie into College Park between 6pm and 9:30pm hitting the following areas (in no particular order):

Old Berwyn
Holy Redeemer Church Children's Mass
Attick Towers
Daniels Park
Hollywood
North College Park
Sunnyside

Driven by President John Gardiner, he had Branchville Life Member James Baker, who is moving away from the area, guiding the sled from the officer's seat on probably his final trip in old E112.
