By Station Sergeant Joshua Edery
January 20, 2018

Shortly before 1900 hours on Saturday, January 20th, E811 with 4 personnel was alerted for the house fire in the 8400 block of Staggers Farm Ct. in company 49's first due. First arriving units reported they had nothing evident however after a quick 360 of the home reported fire showing from the rear. E811, initially dispatched 4th due, was the second arriving suppression company and stretched a line off of E810 to side alpha. Units operating in the rear of the home advised they needed a second line deployed to the rear so command redirected E811 to redeploy their line to the rear. E811 made entry with their line into the basement on side charlie and knocked down a small fire in the ceiling and walls surrounding the fireplace in the rear of the home. Company 11 operated for approximately one hour before returning to service.
