
2023-2024 Leadership Updates for BVFCO&RS
As 2023 draws to a close the Branchville Volunteer Fire Company and Rescue Squad would like to acknowledge two members that have made significant contributions for the past several years.
Eric Gove and Jeramie Jordan are each stepping down from their respective leadership roles, but nor far, from their future roles with the Department.

Fire Chief
Eric Gove has served as the Volunteer Fire Chief for the past several years and will continue to serve in the Deputy Fire Chief position in 2024. The membership acknowledges Chief Gove for his commitment and dedication to the Department. Job Well Done Eric Gove. We look forward to continuing to work with you in your new role.

Jeramie Jordan, past president of Branchville, has completed his leadership role in September as President of the Prince George’s County Volunteer Fire and Rescue Association. This role includes his leadership at various of the PGCVFRA over the past few years and he will now serve as the immediate past president. The membership recognizes Jeramie for his dedication and commitment not only to Branchville but for the entire volunteer fire service in Prince George’s County.
Both members have served with distinction and honor and their leadership reflects favorably on themselves, Branchville VFCRS and the entire volunteer fire service.
During the 100th Anniversary of Branchville in 2024 the operational leadership includes Michael T. Hughes as the volunteer fire chief. Administrative leadership includes John Gardiner, Frank Underwood and D. Scott “Rusty” Staub serving as President, Treasurer and Secretary, respectively.
