
Branchville Profile on Chief Eric Gove
This week’s profile is on Eric Bernhard-Gove or more commonly known as the Branchville Volunteer Fire Chief Eric Gove.
Eric has been a volunteer member at Branchville for 15 years and is employed as a Master Firefighter with the National Institute of Health.
Some of Eric’s training includes Fire Officer III, Hazmat Tech, ARFF, Inspector II, Instructor III, Confined Space & Trench rescue.
Eric hails from Essex, Maryland and is married with two children. His daughter is in college and his son is about to enter DeMatha High School. His son also recently became a cadet member at Branchville.
As a member and chief officer, Chief Gove has established a goal of, “making Branchville great again.” As far as his personal aspirations, “to retire happy.”
