Branchville Remembers 9/11
Today marks the 20th anniversary of the September 11th attacks. Branchville recognizes and honors the first responders that tragically lost their lives in the line of duty. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten and their extraordinary courage continues to inspire us 20 years later.
On this day in 2001, Engine 113 (the Pentagon Pumper) responded to the Pentagon with seven Branchville volunteers. It is estimated that E-113 flowed over a million gallons of water while assisting with emergency operations. We thank these members, along with first responders and civilians across the country, for their courageous acts of service in the wake of the 9/11 attacks.
