At about 1250 on July 2nd, Branchville Engine 113 (E811B) and Chief 11 (C811) were dispatched to the 6100 block of Ruatan St in Company 14’s area. Units arrived to find fire from a BBQ grill close to the house had spread into the attic area. Engine 113, dispatched as first due engine, arrived and secured a water source while the crew made a quick interior attack on the fire.

At about 0120 on July 4th, Engine 113 with a crew of 3 were alerted to the 8400 block of 12th Ave in Company 34’s area of Langley Park. Engine 343 arrived to find fire showing from a 2 story duplex. Engine 113 was dispatched as the 4th due engine and stood by as the Rapid Intervention Crew (RIC).
