It is with great sadness that the Branchville Volunteer Fire Department must announce the passing of 37-year Life Member Raymond “Smokey” Briscoe.

Smokey held every rank up to Deputy Chief and was beloved at Branchville. He was a retired Montgomery County firefighter, and a longtime member of the College Park community. Smokey is survived by his wife Tracy and his son Tre. We ask that you respect the Briscoe family’s privacy in this difficult time. We offer our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Smokey. Please keep them and the entire Branchville family in your prayers.
